The platform · End to end

Everything from
the gate to
the bank, in one place.

Most firms run on fifteen apps stitched together with WhatsApp, spreadsheets and goodwill. Unibuild is one platform, one login, one number that everyone in the firm trusts. The workforce, the sites, the safety paperwork, the money in and the money out, all sat on top of the same shared records.

9 modules 1 login 0 per person fees UK hosted, UK supported
§ 01Platform anatomy

Four shared records.
Nine modules sat on top.

The reason a stack of point tools never quite works is that every tool has its own version of the truth. Unibuild starts from the other end. There are four records that everyone shares, and the modules are simply different views into them. Update a person, a project, a job or a pound, and every screen that touches it updates with you.

One database. One source of truth. Records flow up. Modules read across.
§ 02The nine modules

Nine modules.
One firm.

Use the lot or use the four you actually need. Either way the records sit in the same database, the people log in once and the figures reconcile to a penny by the end of the month.

§ 03What you'll see when you log in

One platform.
Six different jobs.

Everyone on the firm logs in to the same Unibuild, but the first screen is different depending on what they came to do. The director sees the numbers. The foreman sees today's gang. The accounts assistant sees what is due. Same data, six rooms.

// 01 · Director

The numbers, with the why, on one screen.

The first thing the director sees is the firm at a glance. Live margin per project, debtor days, RIDDOR rate, the gang most under or over. Click any line and you are looking at the source records, not a frozen export from last quarter.

§ 04A day on Unibuild

One Tuesday,
one platform.

A real Tuesday on a 32 person firm running three live sites. Every event below is one tap, one screen, one record getting touched. No double entry. No phoning the office to find the variation. No spreadsheet at the end of the week.

06:30
Pre-start

Gangs clock in at the gate, against today's RAMS.

22 operatives clock in on the phone. The right RAMS for their trade is on screen. They sign it, the system stamps it and the day's roster is locked in two minutes.

07:45
Site walk

Foreman raises a snag against the south gable.

A photo, a tag on the drawing, owner set to the M&E subbie, due Friday. The subbie sees it on their portal before the foreman gets back to the cabin.

Project + Subbie portal
09:10
Office

Variation signed by the client on email.

£4,800, signed PDF stored against the project. Quote updated. Forecast cash and forecast margin both move. The PM sees it on their dashboard before lunch.

11:20
Plant

Tower hire returned a day early.

On-hire log closes. Daily charge stops. Cost on the project drops by £62. Nobody had to email the hire desk to chase the off-hire confirmation.

13:00
Lunch

Toolbox talk on heat stress, signed on the phone.

Five-minute talk, twelve signatures, filed against the site, the trade and the operative. Ready for the next CDM audit without a folder being touched.

Health and Safety
15:40
Accounts

Subbie application for payment, ten minutes.

Submission lands on the AfP queue. CIS band auto-applied, retention auto-held, payable date set against the contract. Approved, queued for Friday's run.

Subbie portal + Financial
17:15
Close

Director closes the day on one screen.

Margin moved up 0.4%, debtor days down a day, no incidents, one variation signed, two quotes still out. Phone goes in the drawer. Nobody chased anyone.

§ 05What it talks to

Plays nicely with
what you already use.

We do not ask you to throw away the bits that work. Sage still runs your accounts. BrightPay still runs payroll. WhatsApp is still where the foreman sends a photo. Unibuild sits in the middle and keeps the records straight.
