01What it is

Unibuild is UK-built construction management software that runs a whole contracting business from one login. Workforce and time, health and safety, projects and sites, money, plant and assets, and the communication between all of them sit on one set of records, so a figure entered on site is the same figure the office invoices against.

02Who it is for

It is built for UK contractors of roughly twenty to three hundred people: construction and fit-out, M&E, temporary site services, facilities management, plant and stores, and compliance-led firms. It runs in a browser for the office and as a phone app for the field. There is no per-seat fee: every plan carries unlimited users, so putting the whole site on it costs the same as putting three managers on it.

03UK regulation

CDM 2015 duties, RIDDOR records and the compliance registers are handled as baseline rather than as add-ons, and VAT treatments include the domestic reverse charge. The CIS deduction and the monthly return stay with your accounts package.

04Hosting and security

Data is hosted on AWS in London (eu-west-2) and does not leave the UK. The company holds Cyber Essentials Plus and is ICO registered; ISO 27001 is in progress rather than held.

05Pricing and trial

Pricing is a bespoke flat monthly fee sized to the firm, quoted in writing, with no per-user charge, no setup fee and no VAT added. There is a 14-day trial of the full platform with your own data in it, with no card required, and most firms go live in about two weeks with migration included.

Who is it for?+
UK contractors of roughly twenty to three hundred people: construction and fit-out, mechanical and electrical, temporary site services, facilities management, plant and stores, and compliance-led firms. It already runs two contracting businesses in production, one since 2016 and one since 2023.
What does Unibuild cost?+
A bespoke flat monthly fee, sized to the firm and quoted in writing. There is no per-user charge and no setup fee: configuration, training and data migration are all inside the quoted figure. No VAT is added to the quoted figure. Headcount never moves the bill, so adding a gang on a Tuesday costs nothing.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Fourteen days of the full platform with a slice of your own data in it. No card is required and there is no follow-up sequence. Cancel by email at any time; there are no minimums and no exit fees.
How long does it take to go live?+
About two weeks for most firms, with data migration included. We bring your jobs, clients, documents and registers across ourselves, and training happens on your live projects rather than on a demo company.
Does Unibuild handle CIS and payroll?+
Unibuild runs the job through to the application for payment and hands the commercial position to your accounts package, where the payroll run and the CIS300 monthly return are made. VAT treatments include the domestic reverse charge. The CIS guide sets out how the two fit together.
Where is the data held, and what certifications do you hold?+
Data is hosted on AWS in London, eu-west-2, and does not leave the UK. The company holds Cyber Essentials Plus and is registered with the ICO. ISO 27001 is in progress rather than held, and we say so rather than implying otherwise. You can export everything as CSV and PDF at any time.
