Small team.
Software people use in the rain.
Unibuild Technologies is a small company bringing a mature platform to market. The work is unusual in one respect: everything built here is used the same week by people on site who will tell you plainly if it does not work with gloves on.
Nothing advertised
right now.
We would rather say that than keep a page of roles up that are not really open. When something is genuinely being recruited it will appear here with a real description and a real salary range.
That said, we do read speculative approaches, and the people we are most likely to want to hear from are not necessarily software people. If you have run site operations, managed subcontract accounts, priced measured work or held a SHEQ role in a firm of twenty to three hundred, you understand the problem better than most developers ever will.
Tell us what part of the job you would fix first and why. That is a more useful opening than a CV, and it is the thing we would ask about anyway.
We are not working with recruitment agencies at present, and speculative candidate lists will not be read. Please approach us directly.
Honestly, and in public.
The same standard we hold the website to applies inside. If something does not work, we say so, including on the pages that are trying to sell it.
- Where we are
- Built in England. Support answered on a UK line in UK working hours. Some of the work is remote and some of it is on sites, because that is where the software is used.
- What you would work on
- A platform covering the job from enquiry and estimate through labour, site delivery and compliance records to purchase ordering, subcontract accounts and the final application for payment.
- Who uses it
- Two contracting businesses, in production, today. Feedback arrives the same week and is rarely diplomatic.
- What we value
- People who ask what the operative on site actually does before proposing how the screen should work.
