Your own branded app · iPhone and Android

Your company's app,
under your company's name.

Your staff app is published on the App Store and Google Play under your company's own name and icon. Your operatives download your app, not ours. It runs on Unibuild, bespoke construction management software in daily production since 2016.

What carries your name

From the store listing
to the poster at the gate.

The branding is not a logo dropped onto somebody else's product. Every surface your people and your clients touch is yours.

The App Store and Google Play
Your company name and your icon on the listing. An operative searches the store for the firm on his payslip and finds it.
The phone itself
Your icon on the home screen, beside his bank and his messages. 25+ modules inside, granted person by person, so each role sees only its own work.
The QR posters at the gate
One numbered poster per scan point, printed in your branding. The code is not a web address: only your app can read it, for a signed-in user.
Labels on your kit
Every asset carries its own QR label, branded to your firm. Scanning it in your app shows the test record and the service history.
The office portal
Your name, your logo and your colours on every screen the office works in.
The paperwork
Fifty-eight document types generate on your letterhead from what was captured on site: certificates, reports, quotations and day work sheets.

Why it matters on site

An app from the employer
is an app that gets opened.

An operative will open an app from his own employer without a second thought. The same holds for the agency worker at the gate and the client reading a certificate.

01Found in seconds
Nobody has to be told the name of a software company. A new starter searches the store for the firm that employs him, installs it, signs in once and sets a four digit PIN.
02Agency labour, onboarded at the gate
A temporary worker registers on his own phone, in your app, with his card number, expiry and photographs of both sides. He cannot sign in until somebody with authority approves him, and that approval is stamped with a name and a time.
03Your clients see your brand
Certificates, reports and progress reach your clients under your name, through the client portal or a client app of their own. The software behind it stays out of the conversation.
04A group of companies
Where a group runs several businesses, it can have one app across every company or one app per company. Each company issues its documents under its own name, logo and number sequences.
Side by side

A vendor's app,
or your own.

A vendor-branded app puts the software company's name on your staff's phones. The comparison pages record each named system's store listing, dated and linked.

How it works

Your app, running on
a platform proven since 2016.

01Published under your name
Your staff app goes out on the App Store and Google Play under your company name and icon, set up as part of going live and included in the monthly fee at no extra cost. Nobody needs to know the Unibuild name to find it.
02Built around your process
The forms inside it are your forms, in your words and your order. Anything new you need is built for you, and changes after go-live are inside the monthly fee. How bespoke works on Unibuild.
03Granted person by person
Tick the modules a given engineer needs on his user record and his phone reflects it the next time he opens the app. No new release is needed to change what somebody sees.
04Kept current without a fleet update
Every request carries the app version, and modules that need a newer build are simply not offered to older ones. A leaver is signed out of every device in the same operation that deactivates him.

Questions

Your own branded app,
asked plainly.

Can we have our own branded app for our construction company?
Yes. On Unibuild, your staff app is published on the App Store and Google Play under your company's own name and icon, for iPhone and Android. Your operatives download your app, not a software vendor's. It runs on Unibuild, bespoke construction management software in daily production since 2016, so the app is working software from the first day rather than a development project.
Is the app listed in the stores under our name?
Yes. The listing on the App Store and Google Play carries your company name and your icon. An operative searches the store for the firm he works for and finds it, without being told the name of a software company. This is standard for every Unibuild customer's staff app.
Does it work on both iPhone and Android?
Yes. The app is published for iOS and Android. In one construction deployment alone, handsets in real use span iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy, Motorola, OnePlus, vivo and ZTE, with 54 handsets reporting in July 2026.
Do we have to build or maintain the app ourselves?
No. The app runs on the Unibuild platform, and Unibuild builds, releases and supports it. Your part is deciding which modules each person sees, which is a tick on the user record rather than a new release. Store publishing, support and the changes you ask for after go-live are all included in the monthly fee.
How do our operatives sign in?
Once with their details, then with a four digit PIN. That suits gloves, rain and seven in the morning, and it lets a shared site tablet be used by several people who each sign as themselves. Deactivating a leaver revokes every device session he holds at once.
Can our clients have an app with our branding too?
Yes, if you want one. The client app is a separate seventeen module app under your brand, covering their projects, photographs, documents, asset registers and certificates. A client account can never be served a staff screen. Plenty of firms run the client portal in the browser on its own.
We run several companies. Is it one app or one each?
Either. A group can have one app across every company or one app per company, decided with you as part of the setup. Each company issues its own quotations, invoices and certificates under its own name, logo and document number sequences. See running more than one company.
Does a branded app mean paying per user?
No. Unibuild includes unlimited users on every plan and is never priced per person or per seat. The fee is one flat monthly figure for the firm, and it covers everything. That includes the branded app, its App Store and Google Play publishing, and the subcontractor and client portals, at no extra cost. It is quoted in writing, usually the same working day, and fixed for three years. Every operative, apprentice and subcontractor can have the app at the same price.
