Every system that has ever been put in front of a site team has failed at the same place: the download, the account, the password nobody remembers. So there is not one. An operative opens the phone camera, points it at a laminated poster screwed to the site board, and the page opens. It works on any iPhone or Android made in the last decade.

The design rule for the field half is that anything requiring a briefing has already failed. Everything below is either a scan, a tap or a signature.

Clocking in
Point the camera at the QR poster. Take the photograph it asks for. Confirm. The time is written by the server rather than read from the phone, so it cannot be back-dated, and the office sees the punch at the same instant you see the confirm screen. 5,204 punches have gone through this way so far.
No account, no password
There is nothing to set up and nothing to forget. That is the entire reason it gets used. A system that needs an operative to remember a password on a wet Monday morning is a system that will be filled in by somebody else on Friday, badly.
Signing for what you were told
Toolbox talks and RAMS are signed on the screen, at the point they are delivered, by the person they were delivered to. No sheet going round on a clipboard and no signature added later by somebody who was not there.
Reporting a near miss
Twenty seconds, from the phone, with a photograph. The point of a near-miss system is volume. You want the small ones reported, and volume only happens when reporting costs almost nothing.
Certificates at the appliance
For engineers and testers, the record is made standing at the thing being tested, not typed up from a notebook that evening. The certificate generates from what was entered on site.

What gets asked

Do I need to download an app?+
No. Open the camera, point it at the QR poster, the page opens. Works on any iPhone or Android made in the last decade. No app store, no password, no excuses. The page itself is the form.
Is the company tracking where I am all day?+
No. Location is checked at the moment you scan, to confirm you are within 100 metres of the site you are clocking into. There is no background tracking between scans, because there is no app running in the background to do it. The page only exists while you have it open.
What happens to the photograph of me?+
It is attached to that clock-in record as evidence of who was on site, held on UK servers in London and covered by the same retention and access rules as everything else. It is not published anywhere, and page-level access controls who in the firm can see it. See the privacy notice.
What if I forget to clock out?+
The office can correct it, with a manual flag on the record so the correction is visible rather than silent. Every edit sits in an append-only audit trail with the person and the timestamp, which protects you as much as the firm, because a changed figure can always be traced back to who changed it.
Does this mean my hours get paid properly?+
It means the hours reaching the office are the ones you actually worked, attributed to the right job, with a time nobody can back-date. What happens after that is your firm's payroll. Unibuild does not run payroll and does not produce a payroll file today, so the hours still go into whatever system your firm already uses.
