Bespoke pricing · UK firms only

No price list.
One quote, shaped
to your firm.

We do not put a number on this page because no two firms run the same way. Some only need workforce and timesheets to start. Others want the lot from day one. We talk to you for fifteen minutes, work out what you actually need, and come back with a flat monthly figure on email. No upsell, no per person fees, no extras you did not ask for.

Unlimited users, always £0 setup No credit card for the trial UK only
§ 01How pricing works

Three rules.
That is the model.

We have heard every flavour of clever pricing in this category. Per seat, per project, per active user, per gigabyte. None of it fits how a real building firm operates. So we wrote ours down on the back of one envelope.

01

It is never per person.

Workers, site staff, office staff, the directors and the subbies all get a login at no extra cost. Add the gang on a Tuesday afternoon and the figure on the invoice does not move on the next bill. We exist to put more people on the platform, not to charge you for putting them on.

02

You pay for the bits you use.

A small firm might only need workforce, timesheets and a tidy way of getting numbers into Sage. A bigger one might want the lot from day one, including subbie portal, plant register and bespoke reporting. We size the platform to that, and the quote follows. Usually cheaper than buying a fixed bundle full of things you will never log into.

03

The quote is the bill.

The figure we send you on email is the figure that comes out of the bank account every month. No setup fee, no implementation fee, no premium tier with the useful features behind a wall, no metered API charges, no upsell calls in month four. If we forgot something, that is on us, not on your invoice.

§ 02Why we will not charge per person

What per seat pricing
actually does to a firm.

Most rivals in this category charge somewhere between £15 and £50 per person, per month. It looks tidy on the website. It falls apart the moment you take on a labour gang for a fortnight.

// Per seat, on average £15 to £50 / person / month
1 director×1
2 office staff×2
3 site managers×3
4 foremen×4
30 directly employed trades×30
10 subbies on the books this month×10
50 people on a typical month£750 to £2,500
Take on a gang of 12 next month+ £180 to £600
Drop them when the job endsRefund? Usually no.

§ 03What the quote includes

One figure. One bill.
Everything below is in it.

When we say bespoke we do not mean we will think of more things to charge you for later. The quote is a flat monthly figure and the list below is what sits inside it.

01

Setup and configuration

We stand the platform up against your trading entities, your chart of accounts, your CIS bands, your project codes and your payroll calendar. You turn up to a working system on day one.

£0 setup fee, ever
02

Training, on your jobs

We train your foremen and site managers on the platform using your live projects, not a demo company. Office staff sit a separate session covering finance, payroll feeds and reporting.

Office and site, both included
03

Data migration

We move your data over from Sage, Xero, BrightPay, Excel, Dropbox and OneDrive ourselves. You do not lift a spreadsheet. Larger or messier moves are sized into the same flat quote.

No charge, however messy
04

UK support, UK hours

Phone, email and WhatsApp during UK working hours, answered by a person in our UK office who has read your account first. No tier one queue. No chatbot pretending to help.

UK office, working hours
05

Updates and new features

Everything we ship goes to every customer. There is no premium tier holding the useful features back. If a new module lands, and your quote covers that area, you get it on the next deploy.

All customers, same release
06

Integrations and exports

Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, BrightPay, OneDrive, WhatsApp Business and roughly fifty other connectors are part of the platform. CDM 2015, CIS, MTD VAT and RIDDOR exports are not paid extras.

No per integration fees
§ 04The bits the small print usually hides

How billing actually works.

Everything below is on the standard contract. We did not put any of it behind a sales call. If you find yourself reading it twice, that is the point.

Monthly or annual

Choose at sign up. Annual saves you the equivalent of two months. Monthly rolls month to month and you cancel by sending us an email.

VAT

Whatever figure we agree, it is exclusive of VAT. Standard UK rate applies. Your invoice is MTD compliant and downloadable from your account at any time.

How you pay

Direct Debit through GoCardless or card through Stripe. We do not accept cheques and we cannot invoice for less than three months in advance.

Free trial, in plain English

14 days, full access, no credit card. Real data, your projects, your team. At the end you either tell us to switch billing on, or we archive the workspace. That is the whole flow.

Setup and migration

Both are inside the quote. We do the data move, the configuration and the training as part of standing the platform up. There is no separate implementation invoice.

Leaving

You can export everything at any time, in CSV and PDF, with a single click. If you leave, we hand back a clean dataset within five working days. Nothing is held hostage.

Price changes

Annual customers are locked at the figure they signed at, for that year. Monthly customers get 90 days written notice, in plain English, before any change to a quoted figure.

Adding people, adding sites

Free. The figure we agreed does not move because you took on a labour gang, opened a new site, or onboarded ten more subbies for a single project.

§ 05The pricing questions

The questions you are
actually asking right now.

The full FAQ lives at /faqs. These eight are the ones we hear in every pricing conversation.

01Why is there no price on the page?+
Because no two building firms run the same way. A six person fit out crew and a forty person groundworks contractor have completely different needs, and putting one number on the page would be either too high for one or too low for the other. We would rather spend fifteen minutes talking to you and come back with a figure that fits, on email, in writing.
02Do you charge per worker, per helmet, or per active user?+
No. Not now and not as you grow. Workers, site staff, office staff, subbies and directors all get a login as part of the quote. Add a gang of twelve next month and the figure does not move on the next bill. Drop them when the job ends and the figure does not move either. The bill is the firm bill.
03Are there any hidden fees? Setup fees? Per integration fees?+
No setup fee. No implementation fee. No per integration fee, ever. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, BrightPay, OneDrive and the fifty odd other connectors are part of the platform. The figure on the quote is the figure on the invoice. If we forget to include something, that is on us, not on your bill.
04Roughly, how does it compare to per seat tools we have looked at?+
Most rivals charge between £15 and £50 per person per month. With fifty people on a typical month, that is around £750 to £2,500 a month, before you add the gang for the next job. With us, you still get unlimited users for a fair, quoted figure, and adding more people does not change it. Whether the actual number we quote you is bigger or smaller depends on which parts of the platform your firm needs.
05Can we trial it on real jobs without committing?+
Yes. The 14 day trial is the full platform, not a sandbox. We import a slice of your real data so you can see what your Friday looks like on Unibuild, not a demo company. No credit card. No follow up sequence. If it is not for you, tell us by email and we archive the workspace.
06Is my data still mine if I leave?+
Always. You can export the lot in CSV and PDF at any time from inside the account. If you cancel, we hand back a tidy bundle within five working days and delete the live copy after thirty. We do not retain anonymised analytics, we do not sell aggregated data, and we are UK hosted with UK law as the baseline.
07Do you do annual deals, charity rates, or trade body member rates?+
Annual billing saves you the equivalent of two months on the agreed figure. Beyond that, we do not run promotions, founders rates, or trade body deals. The quote we send you is the same exercise we run for everyone, and the figure stands on its own.
08What is the easiest way to get a number?+
Email [email protected] with rough headcount, where you are and which areas you want covered, or ring +44 7587 557546 in UK working hours. We come back with a written figure on email, usually the same day. No call back queue.
§ 06Ask for a quote

Tell us a little about
the firm. We do the rest.

Five fields. Two minutes. We come back with a written figure on email, usually the same working day. If you would rather just ring, the number is at the bottom of every page.

We reply on email, in writing, within one working day. We do not put you in a sales queue. You can also ring +44 7587 557546 directly.
§ 07 · No card. No lock in.

If it does not work for you,
we should not be paid.

14 day free trial, no card

You give us your work email and one phone number. That is the deposit. Nothing more.

Cancel by email, any time

Free migration in

We move your Sage, Xero, BrightPay, Excel and Dropbox data over ourselves. You do not lift it.

Free export out

CSV and PDF, every record, one click. You leave with a tidy file, not a fight.

UK hosted, UK supported

UK office, UK working hours, UK phone number. Nobody pretending to be in the UK from somewhere else.

No lock in clauses, ever

No multi year minimums. No exit fees. No data ransoms. The contract is two pages.
